The Power of Stories: Changing Perceptions Through Personal Narratives

Details

Stories shape how we see the world-and how the world sees us. In this powerful and uplifting presentation, attendees will explore how personal narratives from individuals with learning disabilities and family members can break down stigma, foster empathy and drive meaningful change in schools, communities, and beyond. Blending lived experiences with practical insights, this session will highlight how storytelling can be a tool for advocacy, inclusion, and transformation. Whether you’re a parent, educator, advocate, or ally, you’ll leave inspired to lift up the voices that need to be heard-and to become a steward of stories that change lives.
