Friend of LDA Award

The recipient of this award is someone who may or may not be a member of LDA of Illinois, and has demonstrated exceptional leadership or support for the cause of learning disabilities. LDA of Illinois board members may submit names to the Awards Committee. The Awards Committee will review the candidate’s credentials and will present the three finalists to the LDA of Illinois Board for a secret ballot vote. Only the Awards Committee will have the results of the balloting until the presentation of the winner at the annual meeting.
